Found this in a forest, what is it?

Found this situated in front of a tree, it wasn't growing out the ground and is hard to the touch, almost feels and looks like a bone but the shape kinda throws me off. Anyone know what it could be?

Yeah, if I was to guess I would also say a bone, I just wanted other opinions.. it was deep in the forest and on its own, I was just seeing if it was something else

Highly doubt it's a bone, look at the shape and that weird ridge on the backside of it. Was is actually attached to the ground or was it sitting there?

What kind of bone would that be? I have never seen any part of any animal with a bone that size or shape.
I doubt it is a bone.

Looks like a mass of wax to me, maybe some goths were summoning the dark lord cthulhu and burning a candle at the base of said tree. OP can you cut it in half? What does it feel like, is it hard or soft? Does is smell?

Maybe melted plastic over a bone or two? The two things sticking out kind of resemble bone.

If that's bone it's from some strange critter... I want it. ;-)

LOL I think its crack that comment was hilarious! My guess since Im a big crystal fan and hunter is that it could be a crystal. I have some that look like this. You say your from the U.K.? Did you cut it in half yet? if you cant cut it in half more then likely its a petrified pile of bone, or a crystal.
