And if lil'bush and mr 1% Chance Cheney were still in power we'd be at war with a half dozen countries.
The use of Chemical Weapons is a Red Line and people who use them on other countries or on their own people need to pay. If Syria gets away with it others will think they can also.

Can you use your amazing powers of prediction to tell me what tonights winning Powerball numbers are?

So how come not one other country is behind Obama and Lurch except France?

I don't care. I just want to know the winning numbers.

Correction, authorization from congress. Like when Bush acted unilaterally during the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

You can speculate all the bull shit you want. Were not talking about who would have done this or that were talking about what is currently happening. So you can get off your knees and stop sucking Obama off already.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rebels used the chemical weapons on themselves in a false flag attack in order to get the US involved. In fact I think that's probably what happened.
If anything we should make sure all the civilians are out of Syria and just let the two factions destroy each other.

You are now an official comedy act. If Congress, the UN and the Arab League approved the invasion and 50 nations joined it there is nothing unilateral about it. Get a fucking dictionary.

Simmer down now.
Quote:
Despite George W. Bush enlisting a coalition of 49 countries, including America’s greatest military ally Great Britain, for his 2003 invasion of Iraq, he was repeatedly derided by the media and Democrats for acting unilaterally.

When they say unilateral they are not referring to other countries approval they are referring to congressional authorization.

Getting back to the topic at hand, I think its a great out, Its a win-win, (well except for the civilians in Syria) I mean, it allows Obama to save face for his ridiculous "red line" speech and get the chemical weapons, Putin comes out looking like Mussolini during the 1938 Munich Peace Accords (im sure it will be peace for our time).
Lets send a message here, If you are going to kill your own people, you got to stick to only explosives and bullets.

Those were perhaps a little too serious for a Twitter account not devoted to foreign policy. So on Friday night (early Saturday in the East), Brooks sent out a Syria joke. "Russia and the U.S. could unite for one week," he tweeted, "go into Syria, remove the chemicals, and let them continue fighting."
So that flies in the face of your original post saying it was a Russian proposal. Which one is it, champ?
And yeah, I'm really sure the "Duffer-In-Chief" is taking ideas from a comedian's twitter handle .
No possible way this could have been discussed at the G20 summit last week .
Not only that, but I'm sure this idea had NEVER been said by ANYONE before .
I'm surprised Russia didn't take Albert Brooks' idea on Friday and run with it, because he is obviously an important diplomat .

You're the one who posted about the joke? What the fuck are you talking about? You literally said he took the advice from a comedian.

You referenced my initial post which was before I learned of Brooks'. Apparently we are being led by idiots who take their cues from comedians.
