Music is a bad idea?

Currently trippin nuts on 1.3 tabs of LSD. Never felt a feeling this strong from such a small amount.
Has there ever been a time where music just seems... like a stupid idea?
Nothing sounds good.
How can music ever sound bad?
Edit: I'm at a crossroads... not sure whether this post belongs in TPE or the pub....

Thats strange, for me music on LSD sounds beyond amazing! I'm able to see/hear/feel exactly what the artist is trying to convey with their music. I'm able to hear it with such a delicious crispness and wideness. Half the reason I'm into psychedelics is for how good it makes music sound.
Now, that being said, the first time I ever took acid it made music sound like a wonky mess and I could barely recognize songs that I've listened to many times before. Only the first time though.

When you rip spacetime apart on LSD or shrooms music starts to sound bad/weird
in the end you become unconscious (if you find the void, the place with missing time), all your senses shut down one by one
it all floats together... vision and sound
if you want a good music experience take a bit smaller dose, then music sounds good
also you start to morph into objects on a large dose/out of body , so you might go into the music, then it doesn't sound as good as when you hear it from your body
try taking a large dose and star gazing :-) just lay out in the dark, and become one with the universe
once took 2 strong hits, and when I came back time accelerated intensely, started getting weird phone calls/fb messages at the same time that were weird, met weird strangers next day etc. but while I was gone I had lost 3-4 hours and my computer had died - unconscious apparently, dunno what happened, everything just got weird next days , meeting many different people each day that had something to tell me/people I hadn't spoken to in many years I almost had to do reality checks.... weird , would meet 3 different people or so each day that would ask me something, normally I don't meet strangers :-) generally people saying weird/spiritual stuff to me

No, I completely agree! One of the many reasons I fell in love with psychedelics... mainly LSD.
I find it so weird that this time around has got me so... not into music. I feel like everything i know is lame, overplayed, just not what I'm looking for. I want something new... but what is it that I want?

Ah I see. I know that feeling. Sometimes the mind wants what it wants, or in this case, what it doesn't want. Maybe try going for a walk or something and coming back to it? Or try finding new music? I've found some of the best experiences are when you have a new album or something that you haven't heard before but know will be great. Some of my most played music is stuff that I heard for the first time tripping.
Also, the silence can be incredible profound sometimes. Don't underestimate it!

If you're tripping hard enough the universe makes its own music, better than anything you could put on a radio. I absolutely love listening to good tunes while tripping, but there is definitely a point where you get in the level 4-5 range where all I want is utter darkness and silence and to submit wholly to the experience.

Your not listening to the right stuff!
-------------------- You have to let it go neo, fear, doubt. Disbelief
"The menu is not the meal." Alan watts “Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.” Bill Hicks

This!
Silence can be so profound and sometimes very disturbing. It's when your mind goes on hyper drive trying to compensate for the silence!
I'll admit you guys, I'm not a high level tripper. What is balls to the wall for me might be nothing to you... and it's the same with me and other people. So I wouldn't say I was experiencing ego loss (ego loss being the reason I don't like the music), although I have experienced it... Tonight in fact!
I did a whippit while my friend was driving and I WAS THE CAR. LMFAO

What a nice night.
Had intentions of taking this acid and being cooped up in my room. Ended up spending a majority of the evening talking to my mom, which was really nice to be honest. I feel like I don't talk to her enough.
Tonight was a somewhat chill trip due to my setting, but I am totally okay with that. It gave me some insight on what I truly value in my life, people I should or should not associate with and more or less feeling like I have my head on straight more so than I did before the trip.
This is a beautiful feeling. Ahhh... LSD never lets me down.
Definitely feeling the love on this smooth coast down to baseline.
Love you all
You stay classy, Shroomery.
EDIT: OH! I almost forgot... I ended up finding a bit of new music tonight. It was awesome, didn't really search hard, or even listen to a lot... but, what I found was nice. Just feeling very satisfied. Extremely euphoric. Maybe that's the xanax kicking in... nah, no way xanax makes me feel this lovey dovey. NO WAY NO HOW.

Night!
