please help the casualties, I can't workout why everything is dying
  C. edulis - leaves look dry but they are being watered
 C. edulis - I think this one's dead, how do I prevent this happening to the others?
 B. sanguinea - seed grown just deteriorated a lot lately
 P. viridis (Luna) - Looks dead, I think lack of humidity killed this thing, sucks because I kept it alive so long it nearly survived the winter
 V. africana - not long ago this had a lot of leaves
 B. caapi - nearly lost all of it's foliage just turned brown and got eaten by bugs, luckily now new growth has started
 P. auritum - this was going great until 2 days I took of the humidity tent and when I checked on it today it looked horrible. So i watered and put the tent back on ASAP - do you think it will pull through?

you might want to water it.
soil looks way dry on that Catha. mine does the same when I have gone for days to work and come back only to find that my wife did not water it.

You had any hot days recently? Looks like they were cooked. We had a few warmish days and some plants got sunburnt.

I agree with the others on the water. This time of the year you should have lots of nice new growth. I find Catha in pots and in full sun can need a lot of attention as far as watering goes. They need regular watering especially if the mix is nice and free draining. In summer the new growth will wilt very quickly which is your first indication that they are suffering. The mix that you have them in could also have become hydrophobic ( repelling water ) so I would try soaking the pots in water and then have a bit of a dig around in the mix. If you find dry spots in the pot then get yourself a soil wetter ( I like the liquid concentrate ones ) and treat the pots as per the instructions and then make sure you water well.

Same thing happens here on hot days. But water always helps.
Weird. Being an African plant, I thought they could withstand some drought

My old girl that is in the ground and in full sun gets no water other than rain and she thrives and never shows any signs of stress. I think because they are a tree they are not really suited to pots especially in full sun. I have a couple of others in pots( narrow leaf and a green ) that have been under a tree for about six months and I haven't watered them since mid to late autumn its spring here now and they are very happy. The narrow has even flowered.

I am going to say... If I have a plant die... Tends to be too much water or poor soil ... Love them to death...
I am not saying its the OP problem but I seem to be constantly losing seedlings do to mildew or fungus!
Summer time... My larger plants love being outside and breath the fresh air (so to speak), soak up the sun and grow... Warm, sun, right amount of water, little fertilizer... And leave them alone!!!!
