Hey hey is this a Gymnopilus? i found it in the woods in  north houston texas...

After seeing the new pics I guess it is Gymnopilus.  Also pic 4 of your OP appears to show Gymnopilus. 

Check for green staining, bitter flavor and the odor of anise.

theres some greenish lookin stuff i thought may be mold on it or something on the edge of the cap. in pic 4 of the OP the one on the left side is the one i have  with me i didnt bring the other one ...so if it is gymnopilus you think i couold go ahead and make a tea with it do you think its not too old or anything? and do u think its worth it to just have one ...? thank you alot im glad it is gymnopilus.:smile:

Looks rotten as hell to me. I would toss it, one Gymnopilus wont make you trip anyway, the best you could hope for is a stomach ache from eating bacteria laden food.
