Dry substrate??
    #1881549 - 09/04/03 05:01 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

I've been researching this forum for months now and I have finally started using the pf tek to grow some mushies.  Anyways, I innoculated 2 days ago and this morning when I got home from work I noticed that the temperature in the rubbermaid tote that the cakes are in was up to almost 92 degrees  I leave for work at 11 p.m. and don't get home until 4:30 a.m. and I checked the temp. before I left and it was fine at about 86, so I've got no clue how long it was at 92 for.  Now I'm all paranoid that the substrate is dried out.  How can you tell if it actually is?

One day at 92 should be no big deal.

What do I know.

Thanx, I'm just so nervous that I'm gonna screw everything up this being my first time growing.
