febreze seems to keep the trich at ease (ryme by the way)
    #18814130 - 09/08/13 06:51 AM (10 years, 4 months ago)

So hey everybody. Ive gotta tell ya that lately Ive been using febreze to fight trich in my monos. Usually after the first flush I end up with trich, which as of new, I have started spraying febreze on the first sight of trich. It seems as of now it keeps it from growing any further and allows my tubs to continue onto my second flush. And do note that I have the regular sent spray bottle and i make sure that i only spray the infected area. Try it out and let me know what you think. It cant hurt anything if your tub is already effected by trich, and so far, Ive had good luck with it. Good Luck.

chems.

Febreeze isn't even a disinfectant let alone capable of kill Trichoderma.

I dont spray the whole fucking thing. I only spray the trich up close and i never spray any pins or mushrooms, nor do I pick or eat any mushrooms that were close to where I sprayed the fabreze. like I said try it out you fuck. It couldnt hurt if you were about to throw out a sub anyway. As far as Ive seen it keeps the trich at bay. I wouldnt recommend spraying over a large areas but if you catch it in small areas, give it a go.

Have you tried salting yet? That's the traditional method of dealing with small spots of mold. It usually won't permanently stop the mold but I guarantee it'll work better than Febreeze.
