Very Strange Dream and Wake-up

Today, something very scary happened to me. I will start from the beginning...
I woke up at around 6AM to the urge to puke. The night before was rough, and I didn't have anything in my stomach to throw up - not a very fun combination. After dry-heaving for like 3 hours, I smoked a lot of marijuana to keep my stomach on a good level and to replace the nausea with euphoria.
All was good and swell when I was high. However, at around 5PM, I decided to take a nap to recuperate. Before my nap, I talked to one of my friends who I gave a tab of acid to try the day before. He said it was a good day; nothing from his description was negative. I was excited that I had a good batch of acid
I got into bed and was in a very weird state of sleep. All of a sudden I had a vivid ass dream of me dealing with acid. I was cutting it, or touching it or something, and then in the dream I began to trip. I first had no idea what was going on: it felt like everything was numbed out and I was just in a completely different state of consciousness. It did not occur to me at the time that I was dreaming: everything felt so real. But different than a normal trip. It is what you would expect a dream trip to feel like, very numbed out and up in the clouds.
Things soon took a turn for the worse. At one point in my dream trip, I went into my room and all of a sudden a blue man emerged from nothingness. He arrived through the lights, simply a half-outline of a genie-looking, enormous entity. He said something in a very deep voice, and then began to laugh in a sinister way. It was right at this moment that I woke up.
But I didn't wake up. I was in my body back in the real world, but I just was paralyzed. I did a bit of research and found out about sleep paralyzation, but this was something a bit more. I could look through my eyes, and everything was like a trip: I felt super trippy and visuals were fractalling through my dorm room. I also thought I looked down on my body for a quick moment. It took a good 3 seconds before I could move, and I was trying hard during those 3 seconds to activate ANY part of my body other than my eyes. Eventually I was able to get up from my bed, and for some reason my back was the sorest thing ever.
My mind, without drugs, made a huge shift in consciousness on its own free will.
What the hell happened to me? Anybody ever experience anything like this? Last time I did LSD was mid-august, and I definitely wasn't exposed to any of it when I gave a tab to my friend.

I have experienced sleep paralysis since I was a kid. Even the breathing is still being controlled like you're asleep. It can get scary because you try to wake yourself up and open your eyes, but you really have to work at it, and eventually you wake up for a gasp of air. Actually hasn't happened to me in a long time. I always found it happened when trying to fall back asleep and quite a lot on long car rides.
