AGAIN? healthy looking mycelium but no stones...

This is my second attempt at growing sclerotia... My first attempt at growing Mexicana A (spore syringe used) resulted in good looking mycelium spread throughout the entire jar but no stones whatsoever after 5 months, so I tossed them and ordered a new spore syringe incase that was the problem..
Now, I'm trying again with ATL#7 using stonesun's growing guide exactly (only using a spore syringe instead of agar), and I'm two months in and have good looking mycelium but still no stones... This time there's one little patch of very white and dense stuff pressed up against the jar (see photo). This gives me hope, but it's only that one little patch and it doesn't exactly look like a stone..
I just want to know what the problem is! I did everything correctly and made sure everything was super sterile, the jars have been kept between 70-80 degrees, etc... If someone could take a look at the pic and tell my what you think is up would be great. I don't want to wait another couple months if it's gonna be the same story as the first time. Thanks in advance for any help!

That looks contam'd.
It's possible you have a mislabelled print and/or syringe. This happened to me with p. tampanensis, multiple times.
I have a whole bunch of ATL7 prints I made myself, would you like a couple?

I've recently had two mislabeled atl7 syringes. :/ why is this such a commonly mislabeled species? If you still have extras Frank I'd gladly take a print or two
