The guy that wrote that did it with the intent to scare people in to never considering trying to reintroduce extinct species of animals back into our environment.
He made a critical error in thinking. His movie has spurred more interest in the subject than anyone according to a BBC report. His mistake was to think what he considered logical thinking would be the same for everyone. This mistake imo is a common one among humans.
Discuss.

Unnecessary although forbidden thoughts.
I wonder why I now for a moment found it cool thinking that I get such thoughts too only far more nutty. Heroism is ignorance. What do you think?

I make the same mistake with the bosses at work regularly in assuming they are as rational, logical, amoral, and emotionally stable as me. Get my ass kicked every few months. I'm learning what buttons not to press now though.

I think I don't really understand what you are talking about.

I've been thinking about you the last couple of days and wondering what's up. I hear you been to the big Windy getting your gears lubed.

Yeah, checking things out here next to the big lake. Went biking in Wisconsin this morning and liking the change of scenery. I still have my place in Florida. Everyone's telling me that I'll be high-tailing it back there when the first cold front comes by. I'm not so sure they're wrong.
And strange as it may sound, I've missed this place.

Winter in Chicago? You've got to be kidding. That's nasty shit. I grew up right across the lake.
It's great to hear from you and to know you're doing well. You were missed.
I'm heading to the desert for 10 days with my lady friend on Monday.

I think Michael Crichton, did this a lot, in novels, but it may have been a PR technique to sell books, or voice he'd adopt to write a novel that was suited to telling a good story.
