you're looking in the right direction i think.
light is definitely spread out infinitely i think. not just through space but through time as well and perhaps even other dimensions

i think of it like this. light is like air and the remaining physical universe is like the ocean. the ocean contains many many many many many pockets of air within it (bubbles, organisms, tidal movements). just as the universe contains many many many many many photon-emitting stars and cellphones
if we can imagine light as existing in a state "higher" than everything else in our dimension, we could perhaps better understand how light "interacts" with our dimension in such peculiar ways

black holes i think also exist beyond the physical dimension. theyre like in a constant ongoing battle with light to see who will take over infinity
but in the end they both win i guess. or neither do. the point is they have to keep matching-odds against infinity in order for thangs to keep on doin'

A Day InThe Life said: Really? You can truly fit an infinite amount of photons in the same space? Or is it only infinite like the beams just gets bigger? lol
How can they prove this?
Well it looks like I might be wrong. I was told this by an old astronomy teacher, so I posted this without really checking it out. It turns out I should have done a little research before posting. I found this Wikipedia article about something called a Kugelblitz. Basically it's an idea in theoretical physics that states if there is a high enough concentration of photons a black hole will be formed.
Sorry for not verifying my statement before posting it.
