Are mushrooms bad for the cactus?

I watered my cacti 3 days ago after previously not watering for over a week. I guess that one watering was enough to set off some Leucocoprinus birnbaumii that i did not know was sitting dormant in there.
My cacti are basically seedlings and dont have a strong root system yet it seems. Will these mushrooms hurt nething? Should i cut em off as they grow so the dont agitate the root system?

They won't hurt the cactus at all, but are an indicator that the substrat it's growing in is very rich, especially in nitrogen. That could hurt the cactus far more than the mushrooms or their mycelium, but Trichocereus are very hardy and adaptable, for a cactus.

Hmm i used lots of rock and some coir to cut back on nutrients... but i also used like 1/5th potting soil which must be where the nitrogen comes from.
Thanks for the help Tangich.
