Part 2
Exploring a sunny Jack pine sandy pit.
Has anyone seen the Robber flys or assassin flys before? This is the first time I had found them, they prefer sunny environments and they are fast and aggressive, they wait in ambush to often take out dragonflys in mid air that are larger then them!!

Awesome pictures!

I see assassin flies often as well. Here's a couple pics I already had uploaded.

An orange one that I've only ever seen in the woods

And a really old picture of a brown variety. I find this one usually in open grassy areas, but sometimes in the woods.

Really loving your pics these days.

I wish that we all had endless money and time and all the MH&I folk
could get together and hunt.

That would be the jam.

Thanks for sharing!
Your updates are getting better every time.

These ar mostly Armillaria.

On the shots with your hand for shade. Try piling debris, and foilage behind the mushroom instead, where applicable. It looks natural, and gives sufficient shadow.

Thanks guys!! Ya that would be epic Ganzig.
I know My hand should not be in these photos... I put it there when using flash because most of the time I cannot get a photo without it looking overexposed or bright. I have tried piling debris but that won't even diffuse the flash, it's kind of weird but here are some photos showing this
Using flash with no hand in photo

Using flash with bloody blistered hand in photo

These are not the best examples but I deleted the crappy shots, any thoughts on this Domestisgnome? Thanks for your help
