Am I on the line of wacko here?
I sometimes wake up with this very strong feeling that my dreams are more than just dreams, more of a passage. I sense connection, presence. Lucid or not, they are there and as crazy as it sounds I like to believe I was in their mind as well.
Anyone else on this?

Ok it took me a minute to gather my thoughts but what if...
Dreams were not just happening in a sub-conscience level. What if we entertain the thought that dreams were a passage to a parallel dimension that your mind travels to once this dimension goes to sleep, and it gets back to us as a memory of something we "really" lived. What if for instance you and some one you know "meet" in your dreams, but both minds are conscious about the encounter?

a lot of my deja vu moments are related to my dreams. It can be very overpowering deja vu too.
This could tie into some of your thoughts on the subject

I like your thought, and I wish I knew how to change it to a more suitable place.=)

Oh, that. Yeah, that hypothesis has been brought up before. I don't buy it personally, but I can imagine it's nice for people to believe in if they are so inclined. A bit like believing in God.

Well my mind will make me believe whatever I want to believe for sure, but you are saying mind is choosing to believe in this theory as an effort to comfort my mind?

A mod will likely move it into the S&M forum
As for your discussion about dreams being a form of a reality:
I don't really thing of dreams as being a reality we go into while resting in this current one but more of a visual representation of what it is to visit a psychic. Ideally, when visiting a psychic we are told many things such as our future, stories of great importance to us, and of course lies (no dreams seem less interested in lies and scams).
Deja vu moments where we see something in a dream which ends up happening outside of the dream is the closest I believe we get to actually living in a reality during sleep (but generally speaking I hope I'm wrong ).
Dreams themselves have shown/communicated things which are more profound than anything that I've ever seen/heard/read/been told/etc, it can really surprise me how little thought or concern some people really put into dreams .

I agree...but what else is new, the things that DO matter are being overwrite by all the BS around and we let it. I'm fascinated with the subject.
