He didn’t do shit. HE was docile as fuck and when the forced him to throw he was off target. Marshawn lynch was a complete non factor as well.
IF peyton played good they won, no questions asked. If peyton played well and they held Seattles 2 best offensive players to such low numbers as they did ild think most guys would like those odds as well.
The problem is obviously a structural one. You can’t put that much pressure on just one guy. Just look at your Super Bowl champions. One of the more mediocre QBS in the league just got a ring, Brady, Manning and Rodgers are out on their asses again.
Credit goes to Carrol, who has to be one of the greatest coaches of all time, and a solid team effort. How do you even pick an individual out? They won on all sides, now stop being such a shitty winner.
although i should expect as much from a lakers fan

I wasn't trying to be rude. I thought Russell played pretty damn well. He had a bunch of throws that were right on the money. Troy Aikman said the same thing. All year you have been talking bad about Wilson. I'm just wondering what makes u think he didn't play well? He had a great QBR, 0 INTs and 2 TDs. His third down conversations were crucial in the 1st quarter. He completed over 70% of his passes. It was the best he's played since mid season IMO, after slumping the last 7-8 games.
He's the most winning QB ever for his first two years. He also has the highest QBR ever for the first two years of a career. Impressive stuff. Look at his TD/INT ratio from rookie and sophomore season. Its unreal, especially without a star receiver

Sounds like a lot of what ifs. Most complete team in the nfl.
Now time for 2 in a row!!
And it's just because he doesn't carry the team on his back like peyton does.

Enjoy, Seattle obviously did everything they needed to do but most complete team is pure opinion and i would say that is hands down SF, most talented too, IMO.
Ya i get what you guys are saying I’m not saying he played bad, and he did make some plays when they needed to be made but he isn’t the kind of dude that is going to destroy you on his own like a brady, brees, manning, rodgers you get the point.
Hes a class act all around don’t get me wrong. I think john fox fucked up so bad though. Not saying i could do any better but i would have liked to see Denver make Wilson beat them, which they most certainly did not do.
That will go down in history as one of the biggest chokes/most complete games ever played, depending on which perspective you take. All i was saying is seattle did it without their stars. Harvin came out of nowhere, and the less heralded guys on the D had the biggest impacts. The only thing Seattle didn’t do was take a punt back
oh wait

You need to stop talking out of your ass in this thread. If SF was the most complete and talented team, why weren't they in the Super Bowl?

And now here come the bandwagoners that watched one game all year.
Kansas City gets an honorable mention too but you probably didn’t even know they had a football team.

Come on. You know how football works. One game to decide. If SF & SEA were to play again, or a game 2? Could still have gone either way.

I don’t know what sports he watches but every year there is a case(s) that proves team talent≠success
Last years lakers, this years knicks, nets, yankees, chiefs
USC Texas and Michigan for like the last ten years....

Dude I’m taking nothing away from Seattle but jesus christ what do you want me to do jerk em off and say they are the greatest team of all time or some stupid shit?

Sure, could have gone either way. But it didn't. What do you want ME to say? "Oh yeah, well, even though SF got beat 2 out of 3 games this year by Seattle, they are still the more talented and better team."
I can't because that spits in the face of the results of this season which is the only barometer that we should be using at this point.
If SF whoops Seattle's ass this next season and wins the Super Bowl, you won't see me saying "Yeah, but Seattle was the more talented and better team". You know why not? Because I'm not a fucking idiot.

I think in terms of who has the better overall roster, SF probably beats Seattle by a little. However all the analysts were calling the Seahawks the most complete team in football. SF roster probably appears more stacked than it really is because of the household names like Boldin, Willis, Bowman, and Gore. Seattle's stars aren't as well known, yet.
There is a lot to be said about chemistry though. Seattle had one of the best overall rosters, and I would say they have by far the best team chemistry, especially on defense. They seem to always know where each other is going to be, and feed off each others energy. It was really fun to watch all season.
Hopefully they can make a deep run again next year, before all the young stars want huge contracts and we have to lose some.

I don't deny that, and actually agree with it. But, football is about winning. And the more talented team is the one that wins. Ergo, based on this season, Seattle is the more talented team.
Last year? SF was the more talented team.

Im not, they are the best roster in the NFL bar none. Just look at the pro bowl and number of future hall of famers on the team.
Plus after all those years of sucking they have so many first round picks.
That last statement is even stupider because SF just got better since last year.
No the more talented team doesn’t win all the time did you not read my examples. Go look at the brooklyn nets roster and tell me why they are one of the worst teams in the league with those guys.

Elax says this.
Most complete team hands down. Your team didn't show up and if yours didn't get completely annihilated then this convo would be in reverse.
By the way hawks win next year.

Depends what they do on the offseason.
their offense is slacking no matter what you say. Harvin looked pretty damn viable so i guess well see. If you guys got another real reliable WR or a TE it would be hard to pick against yall.
Arizona should be a real competitor next year, I also really like what Andy Reid is doing in KC and Pagano in INDy.
If STL keeps their upward trend going NFC W will be fucking nuts thats for sure.
