Truffles perithecium? and Cordyceps!

So I just moved to a new location, and I was exploring the woods and observed a few species of fungus, namely Jack-o-Lanterns, Puffballs, and what is think is Grifola frondosa, but what is more interesting is that beside the stump that was growing the Hen-of-the-woods, I saw black perithecium growing out beside it, it was dry and loose and I'm thinking it may lead to truffles?
Thanks if you can help ID.
Thanks!

Is it possible that what you saw were rhizomorphs from a wood rotter, such as Armillaria?

I'm uploading the pics of what I thought was the perithecium so you can judge for yourself. (It got stuck at 100%) t.t
Do you know what the black and gold one is?

All of these were found in Iowa in an Oak Hickory forest. (But there is tons of cottonwood too.)
Anyone have any idea's?
(P.S. I didn't find any truffles)
If it is perithecium from truffles then the truffles were somehow consumed, possibly by termites, because there we a lot of termites found where I was digging, or other foragers, I don't know tbh.
Oh, I think the black and gold one is Polyporus varius.
On second thought I think the "Cordyceps" may be Akanthomyces gracilis.

Nevermind, it is most likely:
Quote:
Isaria sinclairii is a fungus which attacks insects, including cicada larvae. The larvae typically die just beneath the soil surface, and the fungus produces white tufts which grow up from the soil and release powdery white spores.[2]
