At that point they have beating hearts, hands, feet and sex. On the other hand its ignorant to tell woman what she can and can not do with her own body. You would think with all the birth control methods, the abortion rate would be significantly lower. I think abortions should be frowned upon, not publicly funded, but also available when necessary. How do we as a country become more responsible with our reproductive organs?
Having a heart, hands, and feet, does not make it human. I could cut off all of those items off my body and I am still me, the brain or nervous system is what we are, a 12 week fetus does not have that, so the comparison is not there in my opinion.

Week 10 The embryo is now about 1 inch in length. Facial features, limbs, hands, feet, fingers, and toes become apparent. The nervous system is responsive and many of the internal organs begin to function.
The baby has begun moving inside the womb although it's too small for mom to notice. Most of the joints are formed now - elbow, wrist, knee, shoulder, and ankle as well as the hands, fingers, feet and toes.

22%? Yeah right. If only. Maybe they count the morning after pill or something. Even then I don't believe it.

If you go 10 weeks and find out you need an abortion all of a sudden, well I guess your birth control didn't work

Gasp, You mean we live in an age of medical science where people make choices about their biological functions every day? And the world hasn't ended? Shocking.

Or maybe that baby was born, but got killed by a kid whose mom couldn't afford birth control or an abortion.

I think it's ignorant to say it is. The argument in a nutshell, between two beliefs.
Whatever your feelings or reasons are, the world that has safe abortions is better than the one without.

The species is human all the way through. Whether it should be considered a person is up for debate.

I agree, but we are our brains, so what value does a 12 week undeveloped human brain have? Not much.

The fact that there is no regulation in the industry is what troubles me. The only numbers we have to go by are those that clinics choose to report..and they have an agenda.

Yeah fuck kids man! I'm not having kids for atleast 10 years and is want any girl who I accidentally go pregnant to get an abortion! I take all the precautions but just saying, if somehow it happened, I'd want her to get an abortion. Because straight out, in not ready, responsible or stable enough to have kids! Wouldn't be fair to the kid.
Fuck alimony too tho

Being able to get an abort makes people live more by their desires
Maybe it would be better if it had consequences going out every weekend fucking strangers?
One possibility for a child, better get it right

Crack babies was propaganda honestly, they're 99% normal, but if you had a mom who was on crack then you're probably in a poor economic present state and that's why a lot of them happen to have messy lives
