Watching TV in a trailer living room with my parents when i was still crawling. Its really blurry though. Nearly no details at all. I know my grandma was there, dad mom and possibly grandpa. Somehow i was thinking to myself i wish i could talk.

Here'a a memory.
When I was 3 (I think?) I was at daycare and really needed to pee. So I went to this lady and told her that. She said something along the lines of "well you better go now because they're about to clean the bathrooms soon and you won't be able to go in there for a little while". So I pissed. Right there. In my pants.
I thought she meant go now, go as in pee -- right there at that very second.
True story.

I definitely don't have any memories from that young that are so clear/detailed. Like, I remember at some point in my life when I was a very small child I was drawing shapes at a table and writing letters with my baby sitter. But I don't have any memories that are of things happening or anything like that.

My 3 year old birthday party. Touching the hot burner on the stove top with my finger at age 3, after being told not to do so.
So I would say age 3 for myself, I think photos and discussions about the experience helps keep the memory more accessible.

I remember my Dad carrying me to my crib and I was crying probably because I didn't want to go to bed. On the way over I reached out and broke a full length mirror leaning against the wall. It came crashing on the floor and freaked me out. At least my seven years of bad luck was over early.

I also remember eating a really hot pepper when I was like 3 or 4 -- my mom was preparing dinner and I was hungry as fuck. I was throwing a tantrum. She told me to just wait because it would be ready soon. There were some peppers (serrano peppers maybe? idk) on a plate on the table and I scarfed one.
Cried like a bitch afterwards. God I was such a pussy.

I saw a picture of myself at around 9 years the other day. It was actually extremely emotional for me. I was thinking how innocent I was and how I had my entire life ahead of me. My parents adored me and had high hopes.

I can't stand when remniscing with older people and they'll say do you remember when you ... and initially i'll say no, because that was when i waas three, but it gets stuck in my head so vividly i remember it later. Is that really considered a memory? I mean for all i honestly know someone could make upa belieavable scenario and if i picture it happening as vividly as the rest of my memories it might as well be. But can you say it really happened, or you even remember it when someone has to tell you before you picture it? does anyone else ever experience this?

First day of pre-school I forgot to brush my teeth before school and threw a tantrum insisting that I had to brush my teeth.
Now I'm 24 and haven't brushed them all day and give no fucks.
I also vaguely remember barely being able to walk and there being so much snow that i walked off the porch into it and sank down to chest level, obviously freaking out.
And around the same time my mom warning me that "the stove is hot," me not believing her since I knew she flipped the switch off, and pulling a chair over so i could stick hand directly on it.

I remember around 1-2 years of age we had a 2 story house in Poly (suburb in DFW) a black maid, a Studebaker in the driveway (mom told me this about the car) I remember some scenes of another bigger black lady (the maid). The maid told my sister to go wake up my older brother. So she did, by whacking the straw end of a broom down on him making him scream and cry!
I also remember being in the backseat of a car and the back of my mom and dads heads in the front. There was a Dr. Pepper in the middle console drink holder thing and we hit a bump splashing the cola up into the air and right back down into the bottle without spilling hardly any!
I know you all are going to think this next one is made up, but it is true to my memory. My older sister had the garage as her room. One night when my mom was gone and she was babysitting us (my bro and I, probably me 6-8 and him 8-10) she had a party. There was a giant hukah in the living room floor with 8 hoses.
A guy with waist length blond hair was playing the flute and several other people were high and probably tripping. She gave us the hose and told us to breath in deep! (first time I smoked weed too) we ran around coughing and such. The people there were laying on the floor staring at the ceiling. I jump right on top of him with feet on both sides of his head and look into his face and yell "HEY!"
His eyes just get really wide and he sits up slowly and starts to walk out mumbling and shit. My brother got a cookie jar and was operating the lid like a mouth and saying "I am the cookie jar!" loads of laughter and good times were had by all!
She denies any of this to this day of course. She is a Mormon now, a multiple wife Mormon! Switched in her 40's a few years ago, and sent my mom a pic of her holding the younger woman's baby. I could write a screenplay i tell ya!

Just thought of another story about tomatoes since you mentioned it. My babysitter was a religious nut of some kind. She wanted me to eat tomatoes one time and I refused. She grabs the toms and shoves them into my mouth and down my throat! I spewed all over her hand and the table! She could have killed me in hindsight! That babysitter was areal freak show. Her 15 year old son molested me and my brother, he would shoot birds with a BB gun and feed them to the cat and luagh about "the bones crunching" and he and a friend of his broke my arm very badly while playing one day. *SIGH* ahhh the good ol' days of my youth.
