Alright so this after noon its been 10 days colonizing, and i put my cake into fruiting and i notice and little green spot.
I'm wondering if i'll have to throw the whole cake out, or if i could just cut the spot out??
Thank you for all your help

If it's green you should throw it out. That being said I melted paraffin wax and took a syringe and waxed every place I saw green on my cake and let it harden keep waxing it until you don't see any green then try and fruit it. Depending on how contaminated the cake actually is will determine if you can get some fruit from it. It's only a matter of time before it will take over but I kept my giant cake under control for almost a month before I threw it out and got about 20 grams which can be 20 grams you didn't have. You can find my post under contamination.

Use the syringe so you don't squirt hot wax on the good parts of your cake & remember it's very, very hot.

You can bury it. The soil will act as casing so you can get your tub back before it's covered in mold. I wouldn't be surprised if you still get some mushroom off it.

right on i sure hope so, alot of patience and anticipation got the best of me with this one, i put all my eggs in the basket with this one, im pretty sure i know where i went wrong. Instead of pasteurizing the substrate i sterilized it.. i wont be doing that again, or it could of been that i made a spore print from a cap that came out of a cake i threw outside because it had some trich on it also... i just ended up crumbling the whole cake up and throwing on my outside mushroom patch, i hated that this whole cake was looking pretty good and that one tiny spot of trich ruined it what a damn shame.

My cake looked much worse than yours, both sides showed signs. I waxed it I kept the temps low and it fruited. It never got out of control.
