trigger happy? no! I am all for saving ammo!! f you carried a weapon and walked up on a snake you'd go for it too no?  I see many snakes out here almost daily. but hardly ever kill them. only when they get too close to my tent or are in the chickin coop do I kill them:shrug:

naw i wouldnt shoot a snake, i even thought i saw a rattle snake the other day and i shooed it away with a long stick, upon research it turned out to be a milk snake lol http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18687724#18687724

i get the protecting animal thing though, ive lost chickens to weasels and baby turkeys to raccoons

a Coyote got one of my geese about two weeks ago..
I've seen raccoons square off with a snake before and the coon one..
