Yeah, for someone who has never done grain to grain and asking for monotub advice? Recipe for disaster. Of course there are people on here running ten tubs each time, but that doesn't mean it is proper advice for someone who wants advice on only one.

I was more than half asleep when I responded. I can see your point (but still respectfully disagree). Your previous post made it sound simply like what was suggested was impossible, which is simply not true. Something as simple as a $5 tub with 2 arm holes can increase success of everything we do exponentially. It is borderline preposterous to think of not owning one after a few grows. The SAB opens a number of doors to other methods that are 100% impossible in open air, AND creates a control situation. Doing things in a sab will remove the variables that open air causes. Having a SAB almost totally removes the need to ever order another spore syringe ever.
While you have a valid point, as others mentioned....G2g is not hard at all.
My opinion on grain:
The hardest part of using grain for our hobby is proper hydration. If you can dump grain into a mono-tub with bulk substrate, one can surely dump grain into another jar in a SAB with equal success. A majority of the techniques used in this hobby are not hard in any way, but simply require simple attention to detail....The hardest (IMHO) Is still verifying that grains are not too wet or dry.
I still agree full with Klak1212. Spawn a full tub with 6 jars, and (As pestilence stated) g2g the remaining jar. You will learn something, and even if you fail 50% you will still have 3 jars of colonized kss. This is better than one, and in a few weeks, you can have a second tub ready to go.

The OP asked if he should spawn to one tub or make multiple tubs....I simply said to g2g and make more tubs....It isn't very difficult at all....."nobody has ever done anything until the first time"....If you think that he is gonna fail just because it is his first time then you are an idiot.........
