LC Cherry Popped--Is this.. viable?

It's been about a month... and it doesn't look like other LC pics I've seen (suppose to kind of be that white tornado look..?) ALSO, I kind of sorta (yeah I know the importance of ratio--AFTER the fact) but I got (lazy) and put it in a larger.. jar.. with NO holes at all... with a WHOLE SMALL print (like 1 in. in diameter).
Important question: Is it viable? AND.. if so, how many mLs would you usually put in a 3/4 filled QT WBS jar..?

I think you are asking for trouble with this. If you want to inoculate with live culture use agar. It is so much more reliable not to mention fun as hell!

Looks cloudy like bacteria to me, but there's only one way to find out. Shoot 3ml or so into a jar.

There's only one way to find out if it is good or not, OP. Noc up some jars.

Made a GLC that looked like this. Kept using it thinking I could get mycellium to colonize a jar fully. Mycellium would grow slowly but bacteria would take over 10x as fast every time I inoculated a jar. I ended up wasting a ton of rye before I woke up and tossed the GLC out and started from spores again. I kept thinking it was my sterile technique, or the lid filters were wet, or my grains were too wet when loading...
Give it a shot OP, liquid cultures are hit and miss but make sure you test it first! Look out for wet spot bacteria (slime against the glass, looks wet, starts to turn yellow/gold). Throw it out at first signs because if you wait longer and think its ok, you're wasting time, the jars will be non-viable. Anything you spawn them to or birth will be contammed.

I had this exact same experience myself. Every-Single-Jar I inoculated got some kind of contam. I upped my clean procedures and my grain prep; nothing made a difference. I'm just starting fresh right now with G2G; I've had a 100% success rate so far. **Knocks on wood**
