spotted this one as soon as i walked in to my new favorite spot. didnt have time to snap a pic and i got a bit beat up by the time i got home.
Habitat:
wood chips
Gills:
purple gills
Stem:
thick. white to light yellow, dense
Cap:
redish brown, completely up turned
Spore print color:
dark purple
Bruising:
none that i noticed

Stropharia rugossoannulata is a real possibility, however I can't be certain based on those pictures.

@ tangish. thanks for the quick reply. i wish i could have gotten a shot b4 i piced it but,,, wouldashoulda..
i dont think its Stropharia rugossoannulata. it reminded me more of Psilocybe cyanescens from the shape of the cap. it broke apart in my bag on he way home. ill look for another picture.

Psilocybe cyanesces has a cap 5cm in diameter at most... Just because it's 'upturned' doesn't mean a thing other than it's old.
I'm still 95% sure it's Stropharia rugossoannulata.
