BIG ID HELP :D
    #18801747 - 09/05/13 01:25 AM (10 years, 4 months ago)

I found these in cow poop in GA. They bruise blue, have black gills, and a tan and white cap with cracking features, as shown in the picture. What do you experts think? Psilocybin? I'm getting a spore print now and will post it in the comments when I get it. Also, the second set of pictures I'm not sure about. They bruise blue, but have a smoother cap. ONE MORE THING. Is there any poisonous look alikes?

Only keep the ones that blue, they are Panaeolus cyanescens, the others are probably Panaeolus antillarum.

Nice finds, the majority do appear to be Panaeolus Cyanescens (I'm not confident enough to say they all are)

I suggest putting the shrooms you're not sure of on a piece of paper and labeling them with numbers accordingly so it will be easier to differentiate the actives from non-actives.

Aren't they active if they bruise blue and have a black spore print? I heard that somewhere, here would be the best place to find out if that's true or not

All Panaeolus sp. have black spore prints, if all of the shrooms you have bruise blue I would say they're Cyanescens
