Stomach Problems and Paranoia Associated with Cannabis Usage

Had this in the pub but was told to move it along here... Hey fellow trippers, psychonauts and everyone else here! I'm new to the site though I've been an avid shroomery reader for about 2 years and just thought I'd jump right into things here, hey no other way to get to meet some new interesting people right?
So a little background info, I've been interested in mind expanding drugs for about 6 years now and am a undergrad at a liberal arts college in the states studying neuroscience. I'm fairly inexperienced compared to some here but have still had my fair share of drug experience. I've been a moderate user of cannabis for 5 years now (probably an average of 3-4 times a week with some month long breaks in there). I have some experience with LSD and mushrooms as well as pure MDMA crystals from some friends in high places (tested). My most intense experience was on a 3.5 g mushroom trip (some incredibly strong cubes that gave me my first true experience of ego death, others who ate half an 8th reported "tripping hard as fuck.") I've never had a "bad trip" on these, though I've had some difficulties on coming up on DXM in the past. Either way, let me get to the point
Although I've always experienced some paranoia from cannabis I always had a good relationship with maryjane. It has provided incredible insights and I've had my fair share of intense edible experiences as well as experience with hash and very potent hash oil. However, recently (say, out of the last 30 experiences) half have involved serious stomach discomfort, racing thoughts and feelings of going insane and losing touch with reality accompanied by an overall dissociative state. This makes no sense to me as cannabis is used to prevent nausea. Anyone else have experience with this or have any ideas of the cause? Could it be the other drugs I've put into my body? Should I take a long break? I've had my fair share of experience with alcohol, nitrous, adderall, ritalin, vicodin, codeine syrup, and like I mentioned DXM (7 or 8 high 2nd plateau trips). Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If you are smoking it, it can lead to stomach problems. Any sort of smoking can lead to stomach problems because the smoke can still get down there and irritate your lining.
A lot of shit can cause stomach problems too. Smoking, alcohol, DXM, and pills can all cause stomach ulcers. It all depends on just how strong your stomach is. And if you have an ulcer you dont know about, all of these things will aggravate it and make it worse.
If youre having issues, stop the drug use. Wait two weeks and see whats up. If stomach issues persist, get yourself an endoscopy done (I fucking love the medicine they use to put you out, feels great). Ive had an ulcer once I didnt know about and kept smoking to "take the nausea away" until one morning I had severe pain and had myself checked out.

Nothings impossible but I feel like having an actual stomach problem isn't very likely. I eat a lot and never have any problems, and also alcohol hasn't caused any problems. For example this weekend I took 1 tab of acid then 3 hours later took about 120 mg MDMA and felt fine. Towards the end of the night had a couple of drinks, still felt fantastic. When the lucy was reaching baseline, MDMA was gone and was just mildly tipsy I smoked (only 2 hits from a bowl and for me this is nothing, shouldn't even get me buzzed) and had the stomach issues still. I'm guessing its more of something in my head but right now I'm just puzzled

Maybe your body is telling you to take a break? There's no harm in leaving it alone for a while, and picking it up later.
Too much of anything is not good. Take a break, pick up a new hobby like meditation and spend some time outdoors. Come back to it when it FEELS right, as opposed to fixing a craving.
Hope you find peace.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. I've already slowed it down but I'm just gonna give it a break for now, though it'll be tempting with 5 gs in my room. Oh well I'm busy with school anyway

I don't know how smoking weed can cause stomach problems, don't buy the notion that smoke gets down into the stomach unless you're forcing it down to have pot belches.
I had a strange problem once. I ran out of weed and started getting constipated. 2, sometimes 3 days would pass without me shitting. Normally I shit like 3 times a day. When I got more weed the problem went away.

Fear and anxiety give me stomach discomfort/queasiness.
Weed paranoia thus always makes me feel a bit sick too.

When stomach problems begin, no, certain foods USED to not cause problems. I would wager a rather large amount it is something you are eating/drinking. and yes, it probably didn't cause problems in the past, but it is causing it now. First suspect would be gluten, and for some reason dairy begins to cause problems after gluten...
try eliminating things until you find it... but I think it could be marked coincidence until you prove otherwise (with the smoking), unless you are under-estimating your usage. Same with ALL medicine that "relieves" certain symptoms, when you stop using it, what it was intended to do, will come back, a la withdrawal

I don't think it's any food type thing man. I literally never have any of these symptoms when not high. I'll feel fine before I smoke then I'll smoke and not eat anything after and then feel like shit, but it's always combined with racing thoughts feeling of losing touch with reality, not sure if I'd even call it paranoia in the true sense.
Maybe I need to take some time off, and when I do come back do it in a bit of a more shamanic style like I used to way back when I started.

Ate a slice of pizza before the MDMA, but that was all about 5 hours before the 2 hits I took. I've had this happen plenty of times when not on any other drugs though :/

Did you eat at all during the trip, because if you didn't eat for 5 hours plus the duration of the trip your stomach is going to feel bad.

This would make sense if it were always the case, but I've had the experience on a full stomach, empty stomach, and everything in between

It might be mental. Your anxiety from being high might lead to you to believe your stomach feels a certain way but it isn't....idk I'll explain later. Too tired right now.
