They simply kick ass. The theory is that you can get a spore print for ? 1,- They expect you to send them a spore print back one day (for no charge of course), in order to keep the 'ring' going. I got a spore print from them once, it was top notch quality, fast shipment etc. A+, really. On top of that, the guy who runs the show there is a hell of a guy, really. Nice, helpful an enthusiastic.
I'd like to encourage everyone to participate in the fsre.org project. Not only order a print there, but also send one (or more) back, so other people can also enjoy this reliable and affordable way to acquire a new strain.
Check out this page http://www.fsre.org/fsrportal.htm for other free spore rings, there might be one closer to ya than Europe!

I started on nothing more than swapping some seeds for some spore prints from a bloke in the shroomery ages ago. I have never bought a syringe/print. You don't need to $hell big bux to get the results. So yeah, go a print through the free spore people and of course, make a few prints to return the good will.

The FSRE is excellent. I sent to both the Europe as well as Canada rings and got prints from both within a month. They even let you pick which strain (if available). The prints came labeled and dated, and all are growing NICELY. Remember to send a print back and keep the ring alive!

:thumbup: Same here, fsre is a very reliable source. And he is a wonderful, very intelligent and very helpful, if you don't know ask him, if he doesn't know, he'll find help you find the answer.  :grin:

All you have to do is go to the post office (or your local corner store that sells stamps) and ask to buy an international stamp.
I'd say anything you're going to mail in regards to prints will fit nicely in a legal sized envelope. :smile:

My friend just sent off to FSRCanada a few days ago. Heard good shit about them as well.

It cost him 60 cents postage (from FL) and he asked the clerk if he could just stick regular stamps on and throw it in the mail. She said yes cuz it's all airmail nowadays. Use to have to designate "airmail" and use airmail stamps, etc. but not anymore.

He might check out the European version, too.

I put two first class stamps and sent to both Europe and Canada from Florida. Just dropped it in the mail- no problems with either one.

i just got my print today from FRSE. it'll be about two weeks before i can test it cause my incubator is already full w/ TC. im excited though! oh and the spawn bag came too.

Yeah I got my print first from them.  I highly recommend them.  And I was just looking for a syringe before I found out about them.  But saving 19$ on spores was enough to inspire me to learn how to make my own syringe :smile:

It was fast too--I sent a letter to a friend in England and it took exactly twice as long to get my print as it did for my friend to recieve her letter--so he must've processed the same day.

The prints are actually free. The 1 dollar, euro, pound you pay is shipping. There are or were several within the states. I dunno where they all are though.

yes its technicaly true, the prints are free, hince the name. as for rings still being in the states i think its probably a little too risky for most to try running, at least i know it is for me...

I started it, thinking it was a good idea:)
Not alot of people sent back prints...
I was sending mostly my own...so I had to give it up:(

The FSR is a great idea that needs to be continued.
