Okay so I was planning on doing Damions Coir tek for some mini monotubs , and I was testing to see how many totes I would be able to fill 4 inches high using his method, and I found out that it takes exactly 11qts of water to fill just one of my mini tubs 4 inches high.
So if I wanted to do 6-8 mini tubs that would mean that I have to have 6-8 buckets of Damions coir tek materials at one time??

1 brick of coir = 8ish quarts 5 quarts grain 2 quarts verm
= 15 quarts
Your mini x3 = 33 quarts (Your tub) Damion5050's formula x2= 30
I would guess that you could easily fill 3 of your mini with 2 batches of damion's coir prep.

It's about 2 or 3. I know volume is volume, but how "fluffy" you make your substrate will determine how much actually goes in.

keep in mind, you don't need 4 inches, you can use less. Mine are usually about 3 inches.
Also, your holes don't have to be exactly at the substrate depth. They can be a little higher.
This is not an exact science. Different tubs have different dimensions. But yeah, the standard procedure calls for a bucket for every monotub.
You don't have to do it all at one time. When I was doing multiple montubs, I would do 1-2 per day.
If you have fully colonized grain jars waiting, they will likely be okay to sit for an extra few days.

Also, I have left fully colonized grain for a week and still was able to spawn. After that its a crapshoot, anything around the 2 week mark dump it. All your gonna have is shrooms popping out of uncolonized substrate.

I do up to four bricks of coir per recipe at a time in a large rubbermaid or cooler. If you know how to pasteurize properly you can adapt methods that are more convenient to you.
