Pressure Cooker question
    #1879867 - 09/04/03 12:08 AM (20 years, 8 months ago)

Some of you may remember that I managed to botch my first pressure cooker experience by putting a washcloth in the bottom that was, well, incincerated.

Obviously I won't be doing that again, but I'm still worried about the jars on the bottom cooking. Any experience with this? Have you set your jars on the bottom of your PC and had them come out just fine?

That's what trivots are for.

I'll probably always do drugs, so that just contributes to the addiction to The Shroomery... It's a vicious circle of bliss. :tongue2:

The trivet doesn't just conduct the heat?

Is a trivet required? Ahh well, I need to go to the store anyway.

Find a wire cooling rack, cookie rack or something along those lines.

This is exactly what mine looks like and I found it at a cooking store at the outlet mall:

If you can't find the right size, make one...heavy wire cutters trims down the nickel plated wire easily enough...or a hack saw blade.
