New Mexico Shrooms- My Search

Around last april I started going mushroom hunting in the Lincoln national forest about 45 minutes from white sands. I have been trying to go as much as possible since then and ive found alot of different kinds. I'm hoping this will help alot of people and my self trying to find out the different types of fungi in central new Mexico. I wanted to get this started tonight so I can get some pictures up
The very first mushrooms I found in March, the ones that pretty much led me to begin studying mycology last year . I will post more tomorrow, I have pictures of at least ten different kinds. But for now, The ink cap
Coprinopsis atramentaria

They are not atarmentaria but they are a coprinoid of some kind. Stoked to see the rest.

Have you searched the type location of Psilocybe mescaleroensis?
I have some nice pics of the type collection but they are not uploaded yet.

I havent looked up Mescaleroensis a whole lot yet, But from the little bit I have read it seems like I might have some luck finding that up towards Ruidoso. Also I didn't tell you where those last mushrooms were growing : under cow patties, every time. They were tiny at first and really started showing up about May. I'm on my way to work now, I'll post pics tonight!

These ones were pretty abundant. A also found in the mountains about 5000 ft in a forest that is open for cutting trees.

Thank you! I have a galaxy S4. In this forum you hand to have a computer to make a login, which sucks. It took me months to get around to since I work on the road traveling around nm, it's hard to get to a computer. So in the mean time I made sure that I took pictures of everything I found

Thats a neat one, I think it's a Stropharia aeruginosa pin. Could be one of the other blueish Stropharia as well I suppose.

That's the only one I've found like that so far, and actually It wasn't even me, my girlfriend spotted that one one day while we were out looking around. One that I found a t-shirt full of were these ones.. I think I ID'd them when I found them I just can't remember. I found a huge patch of these just last month

That's exactly what those ones looked like! Thank you! Those were some of the first ones I found this year that had such a prominent ring around the stem. The next ones were growing in grass and they were pretty abundant when I found them. My LBMs

Not really sure on those ones shroominnm. I'd guess a Conocybe sp. Or maybe even a Galerina, but most of those grow on wood. Certainly nothing active though. Someone else may have a better idea.

Could be Stropharia. If you have access to DNA sequencing technology, check the sequence to see if it is a better fit for Leratiomyces.

It is Clitocybe squamulosa var. montana.
In your newer posts you have Protostropharia semiglobata, and a Pholiota on a log.
In your newest post you have a Clitocybe species, perhaps close to C. gibba.
