Very nice shots. I love the Amanita (guessowii??), Lactarius indigo, the sand-dwelling Inocybes, and the little Armillaria pins. Thanks for sharing! What area of the world are you hunting?

Nice photos, I hope you saved the Limacella and Asterophora parasitica! The Asterophora have really cool spores, here is what they look like:

What is the purpose of those projections on the spore? Is it to help it latch on to different objects? They almost looks like a virus!

Thank you gentleman!! I appreciate the comments and no I did not keep the trumpets, I actually knocked them over and decided to honor them by taking their photo. They were the only ones I found in that area and I just spread them about so the spores that were on them stayed in the forest. Awesome looking spores Alan, I will keep this mind for when I get a scope, I did not keep any specimens.

Great shots, Chimp! That tree shot gave me vertigo! Do you have ashot of the underside for the second to last one?

Thank you, that is very kind of you all. Those were some of my best shots that i took over the past couple weeks. All the fall species have been popping up over the last 4 days, whole new genera that I haven't seen all year, very interesting to see. Armillaria came up very early, it started about 3 weeks ago.
Here is the only shot I have of the second last mushroom Bob and I included some shots with veils as well. Really cool veil on this, how would you describe it...? One of my most amazing finds to me, I love the Tamarack/Spruce bogs and the fungi they have in them... Best way to beat a hot day is walking bearfoot on the moist cushiony moss!!
