Tub fully colonized, was forming knots, now suddenly has trich!

I have an outdoor panaeolus tub. Until it was doing beautifully, the substrate was fully colonized, had that sweet smell of healthy mycelium. I cased it with 50/50, it almost fully colonized the casing.

Then, last night, we had a fucking downpour. The wind and rain removed the cover of the tub and completely soaked the tub for about 4 hours. When I got home it was in a puddle of water, I drained it immediatly.

Today, trich is growing in tiny patches in one corner of the tub. The other parts of the tub smell good and have no mold, but that section smells dirty now.

Not sure what to do. I know that you can save a contaminated tub outdoors but it already is outside.

From what I understand, burying the substrate a couple inches down should eliminate the Trich due to bacteria that targets it. I haven't done too too much reading into Trich outside so don't quote me on that.

There's no way to effectively remove it. Just so you know, when that happens it's because the mold was already growing there. The rain just created the conditions that caused it to surface and start sporulating. Mold can't actually spread to s substrate, grow to maturity, and start sporulating over night.

probably, i spawned the substrate in open air since it was outside.
