Should I add cakes that I don't care to fruit into my next monotub?

If I have some 1/4 pint test cakes that are good can I just add them to my pasteurized core/verm along with the grain spawn? The cakes are in pp5 containers with no verm barrier, rather a GE lid so they're clean enough. I could even grate them as extra spawn but I was just thinking of throwing them in whole since they're small disks.

If your tub goes south, it will be hard to know for sure what caused the problem.

Personally, I wouldn't do it unless I was just curious to see what happens.

What's the difference between that and spawning multiple jars of grain?

For sure, I was just curious if I was missing something.

If anything goes wrong it will be that the cat tore the polyfil out of two grain jars :mad2:
