Super sweet, dude! I've always wanted to find these. I bet they smell awful though. Would you say the smell is similar to Mutinus elegans?

These were not noticeably stinky from the range at which I took the photos, and I was not curious enough to stick my nose in them. I've only seen these once before.

Looks like a fly on one of them...  If they smell real good to the flies...

There were more today, and since folks were curious, I got a little closer and took a whiff. They do indeed smell like a dead animal.
