Bring forth your debates

What only a few people know about me is that I am a great debater. Always have been. I was in the debate team in school and debated on a national level.
So I challenge the whole PSP forum to debate against me in a topic of YOUR choosing.
Could be history, science, math, etc. I am well educated in almost every major catalogue of classification.
The only thing I ask is that people be respectful to me and give me time to respond.
Lets go!

The best colour is Blue and I will tell you why. Blue is known to make people feel relaxed. This trumps green because green does not make us relaxe. Green reminds you of grass and grass doesn't even taste good. Most animals won't even eat grass.
Which brings me to my next point. Why would anyone want to look at the colour green when most of the time green is associated with vegetables, thus causing us to think of less appetizing things than jello or Taco Bell.

Green is the colour of science. It wants to know, it values knowledge and facts.
Blue is cooler than that. Blue doesn't need to know. Blue just accepts. Blue is love.
Green is my least favourite colour.
Blue is like the ocean and the sky which represents, to me, the limitless nature of reality.

Actually green is slightly more relaxing and why they use it in hospitals.
"The most relaxing colors are generally believed to be cool shades such as green and blue. Designers, psychologists, feng shui experts, and advertisers all agree that blues and greens make us feel calm, balanced, and less emotional. They use these hues, especially a sage green, in hospitals, test centers, and television stations to ease nerves and attenuate harsh emotions. Whether this reaction has to do with the effect of wavelengths on brain chemistry, linguistic associations, cultural meanings, or coincidence, has yet to be fully determined."

Debate is just a natural thing humans do. We debate because people love truth and truth is important in society. Debate teaches us that it is okay to have different opinions Quote:

Interesting, what do they say about purple?
I would say purple/violet/indigo is the best color because it has the most energy being the shortest wavelength, and provides energy to all the green plants on our planet through chlorophyll, it is also at the 420 nm wavelength, go figure.

But I like green too!
Without purple there wouldn't be life on this planet . . .

Plants produce oxygen from purple light, they reflect green light which is why they are green, they don't use it.
Check out the photosystems I & II
Without green light plants would likely appear to be black, but they could still make oxygen.

I don't want to derail the color exercise, but here is another topic for debate:
1. All sentences are either true or false 2. This sentence is false. 3a. (2) is a true proposition
or
3b. (2) is a false proposition
Do you think that (1) is off, in other words, that it is not true that all sentences are either true or false, or do you take issue with the commonsense reading of (2), the reading that would problematize (2) into a self-contained contradiction?

(2) can well be taken as a proposition (that is, a premise) under the guidelines of syllogistic logic. If we make (2) a conclusion, we don't have the requisite supporting premises for it. Right? If I am still missing what you mean, please point it out.
But anyway, are you also committed to denying (1)? If not, then (2) remains either true or false, necessarily. If (2) is itself true, it contradicts its own content. If (2) is itself false, then it still contradicts its own content, by way of a double negation.
I'm not sure what you mean by "conclusion," 3a and 3b are two possible conclusions, and seemingly the only two conclusions unless we make a pretty fancy move.

Also, neither 3a. or 3b. are sentences so they aren't required by (1) to be true or false. (2) is your only sentence because it's the only one ending in punctuation.

Oh okay, gotcha. I understand now.
Yet if we think about it, that's not really a solution to the paradox (had I written it with punctation), which is not of my own creation, but a very famous example from the history of philosophy. It still hasn't been definitely "solved", in fact, which is why the problem is so ripe for debate.
Just imagine that (1)-(3) have punctuation. Or imagine that (2) doesn't have pronunciation, thus rendering all sentences similar. Defining "sentence" is not where we want to turn, rather we want to think about what constitutes a contradiction and a "true" statement, should "true" even be a real predicate.
Maybe I can reword the problem into a form that is easier for us to work with (fewer logical steps):
"Everything that I say is false."
What do you make of that claim? If everything that I say is false, then isn't the claim itself false, meaning that it is not the case that everything that I say is false? But if that is the case, then what the heck do we do with the sentence in the first place, since it claims precisely the converse?
