Oh okay, gotcha. I understand now.

Yet if we think about it, that's not really a solution to the paradox (had I written it with punctation), which is not of my own creation, but a very famous example from the history of philosophy. It still hasn't been definitely "solved", in fact, which is why the problem is so ripe for debate.

Just imagine that (1)-(3) have punctuation. Or imagine that (2) doesn't have pronunciation, thus rendering all sentences similar. Defining "sentence" is not where we want to turn, rather we want to think about what constitutes a contradiction and a "true" statement, should "true" even be a real predicate. 

Maybe I can reword the problem into a form that is easier for us to work with (fewer logical steps):

"Everything that I say is false."

What do you make of that claim? If everything that I say is false, then isn't the claim itself false, meaning that it is not the case that everything that I say is false? But if that is the case, then what the heck do we do with the sentence in the first place, since it claims precisely the converse?
