Ready?
    #18791818 - 09/02/13 08:15 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

I was going to give these Phoenix Oysters another day or two to get bigger but thought I would get some input from those who know far more than I. They are not cupping yet but are only a little bigger than a silver dollar so was hoping they might get bigger yet....thanks for the input

I would say that most of them are.  The fruits on the lower left will be good for another day or so.  I wouldn't leave the rest though.

Yes some are a bit smaller. Is the size about right or should I do something to get bigger ones. I did NOT add anything but straw...I do have coffee grounds though that I can add, Bran and can get pelleted gypsum

For me the size seems to be more environment driven than substrate.  I have grown out similar guys to what you are showing, threw them outside and got giants.
