Do either one of you mavens wish to address the substance of what the woman said? Of course not. The depth of your thinking extends to the credentials of the speakers and no further.
Real people are being murdered. To you it's just a game of babble and who has the most politically correct sentence.
..............................
It is for you too. You're just complaining like everyone else here. People are murdered every day all over the world. These murders should be the business of that particular country. I'll guess that should we intervene they'll just be more "murders".

If I didn't know any better I'd think you and Icelander masturbated every time you thought you "just showed somebody in politics what the fuck they were talking about"
Funny enough, I've had a few friends that tried to talk me into going into the marines, joining to be a cop. I've shot a few rifles at targets. I've basically spent my life avoiding idiots that think adrenaline and guns mix. I won't be a cop, although I think many people should be in jail. I won't join the army just for a weeks basic training discipline. I can't imagine how dumb it'd be to actually consider firing weapons at people smart for some grand purpose. I think putting a heroin needle in one's arm is about as medically retarded as possible, what do you think I consider putting a bullet into someone
I've seen nothing from you and Icelander but constant compassion less arguments trying to prove who's political viewpoint is stronger and more accurate and have less flawed facts.
If someone had a gun in your face, you'd wish the world cried about it, whether it changed anything or not, believe me. It's not pretty and neither of you would enjoy it. If either of you had a chance to go up to Obama and simply say "please stop" neither of you would try it. If the arabs came knocking on your door with guns to burn your house down you sure would feel differently about smart remarks of who is a warrior or not.
Truthfully, it's most times people feel that other men with guns stand ready to do harm to those who would violate your freedom. And in some instances, I agree. In the case of Iraq, Libya, Syria, everything unassociated with Al Qaeda I'd imagine it'd be much wiser to not get involved, considering most of these people had no beef with the U.S. what so ever I'm sure until we get involved in their conflicts. It's pretty much saying "we'll go fuck you up, and the minute we stop flying jets over the sea boundaries that we created to show what we will protect, we invite you to just come on over with all your fucked up Jihad hate and anger and just basically take your ak-47s and have your revenge on whoever you choose, the first person you see."
I will agree with this much, someone is fighting for both your freedom. Not sure if it's the same people camping in the middle east. But there is definitely a line to cross that if crossed you'd both be sucking a barrel begging for your life asking who's genitals you need to please to not get your skull blown out Allah style. Whether it's the people fighting for you over seas, or some boundaries strongly guarded from nearby bases, someone is definitely fighting for your freedom

Quote:
10. "I can see Russia from my house!" – Sarah Palin
It was actually comedian Tina Fey, who was impersonating Ms. Palin on Saturday Night Live, who uttered the line that is now widely attributed to the former Alaska governor.
The basis for this line comes from a September 2008 interview with ABC News's Charles Gibson, who asked Palin what insights she had from her state being so close to Russia. She responded: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."
This is true. As Slate has pointed out, on a clear day, those on the Alaskan island of Little Diomede can see the Russian island of Big Diomede, located across the International Date Line some two and a half miles away. Given that Big Diomede has no permanent population, the amount of foreign policy experience one can gain from staring at it is debatable. But you can see Russian soil while standing in Alaska.
Why am I not surprised that your understanding of politics extends as deep as some pop culture slag's false impersonation of reality? I would ask again if you would care to comment on the content of what the woman said but I suspect that it will be just as vapid and inane as everything else you post.

Half obvious observation + Half vapid oversimplification = Policy genius? I guess if that's the case you can pencil in most of us here at the Shroomery for illustrious careers at the State Dept.
By way of example:
Quote:
what vital American interests are at stake there today amidst yet another centuries-old internal struggle between violent radical Islamists and a murderous dictatorial regime
This is a complete and flagrant misapprehension of the dynamics of the present conflict and (more egregiously) the history of Syria. This characterization of the conflict is like saying that the current U.S. political landscape is the result of "a centuries-old conflict between the Tea Party and left-wing blogs like Jezebel and Buzzfeed." Basically, she doesn't know shit about Syria. The only point in her favor is that she correctly sees intervention as a terrible move - or, more likely, has been advised to see it as such, since I doubt she gives a shit.

So , apparently some elected republicans that actually have influence think striking Syria is a good idea. Boener, mcain, cantor, grahm.. or top republicans as the article said. I forget, what level of republican is Palin these days? Middle maybe? Guess they must of had a slightly different convo with god than palin. Or perhaps they just havnt risen to her level of genius yet.
"But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies." --Sarah Palin
"how are we going to kick in the plan that will get this economy back on the right track and really shore up the strategies that we need over in Iraq and Iran to win these wars?" --sara palin
"Ohh, good, thank you, yes." --Sarah Palin, after the Canadian prank caller complimented her on the documentary about her life, Hustler's "Nailin Paylin," Nov. 1, 2008 Shocking she wasnt elected in 2008 right?
Your title should have been -holy fucking shit , I cant fucking believe it , Palin said something something that didnt make me wanna kick her in the crotch for once , its a miracle.
