Tom Baker is the one I remember as a kid in the early 80's but those must have been reruns since his last year was 81 apparently. I didn't watch the actual show much at that time but I remember thinking the theme song was really awesome.

I started with Christopher Eccleston and worked my way through the rest of the series. I've become a huge fan of the classics, and the show in general. I have waaay too much Doctor Who memorabilia.

I haven't watched any of the classics, although I do really like the new story line. I think the show has a lot of potential if they get rid of the cheesy effects and make the target audience the more intelectual viewers.

It was #9 for me, as well. I have watched some older episodes. I dig it. Of course Tennant is my favorite
I've seen every episode and special since #9, though. Huge fan of the show! I heard the 50th anniversary is supposed to be playing in select theaters.

#9 for me as well, just got into earlier this year and marathon'd all the new series.
I watched a couple of the classic episodes but kept falling asleep, it was one with the 1st doctor...i heard tom baker is pretty good so I'm going to try to watch his series
wait...12th doctor?? I didn't know they announced who it was yet, and I was really liking Matt Smith. bow ties are cool
