brown spots?
    #1878829 - 09/03/03 09:28 PM (14 years, 2 months ago)

this is a question im asking on behalf of my friend who is growing. sorry i dont have any picks but again, these are not my shrooms. he innoculated with the pf tek and he had 1 contam out of 5 jars and promptly got rid of it. now the rest of his jars all have "little brown blobs" on them. we looked up the contam pictures that the forums had and didnt find anything like it. any gueses? were not sure if these are contams or simply pin heads. its not easy to tell since theyre still in the jars, so hes just gonna go ahead and birth the cakes and see what happens. any feedback would be appreciated.

Wait for 100% colonization then birth the jars, if they stop colonizing then most probably it's a contam.
Now, only time will tell what's inside. If you smell something nasty, toss them.
