I can see the prints, but what's all the light brown shit all over the foil? The thing you gotta worry about most when tryin to get them in a syringe is contaminations, and those prints look contaminated as shit. If they are, your only hope is agar or starting over with proper steral tech.

Even if the foil is clean, the prints come from the outside world and are probably dirty because of that. In which case you're going to need agar to clean the prints up.

Stop opening them, for one. Then read up on sterile procedure.
Then read, read, read, research, and don't stray from already known teks that trusted cultivators have shared their results from. They've studied this hobby for years and have already established a good baseline on which to go from. I can't remember who, but the best advice a TC gives on here is "read until your eyes bleed".
Saying that, be sure to look at the post date when you're doing your research. Sometimes you get hits and don't realize you're reading old, outdated information.
I suggest straying from pf tek and just go straight to learning how to spawn to bulk using a monotub. From print ->spore syringe OR agar ->grain (rye berries recommended), grain ->bulk (coir, verm, gypsum or hp, straw, gypsum or a mixture of any above to field capacity)

+1 for teaching yourself some agar techniques. You can grow from wild prints via a syringe into PF Tek, but it will be a really difficult uphill battle against contams. Get your sterile technique down with agar and you'll have won most of the battle by the time you get to cakes or grains

QUESTION ABOUT INOCULATING W/ AGAR Indepth - AGAR PE6 - Print -> Agar -> Transfer -> Grain -> Monotub

Yes, that is correct. Grains colonized with mycelium is mixed with a bulk substrate to produce mushrooms.

I really loved your post. The only thing I disagree with is straying from the pf tek. It is by far the easiest for a first time grower.

QFT. But the sooner he can move onto grains/bulk, the better
