A lot of views and no replies, be careful my friend.
That means people are timid to give advice.
EDIT: Maybe try posting in ID?

Possible, but unlikely. However err on the side of caution. ALL of my OD growths were washed vigorously, dried and used in Tea. I feel better knowing that boiling water soaked them. It may be unnecessary, but Id rather feel good than to be sick with some goofy bacterial infection of the guts.
This advice I give is ONLY for confirmed edibles. If you cannot POSITIVELY ID, I would not eat it.

The reason I'm questioning it is I found something that looked similar in my yard the other day. It was near my outdoor grow so I was like maybe... but upon further inspection I decided to chuck it.
The red flag for me in this picture is I can't identify a veil, which all cubes come with if my memory serves me right.

Did you find this in a cow pasture? Is it bruising blue? What about a spore print.

it was in my outdoor cube compost dump pile, and yes it was bruising blue and dropped purpleish/blackish spores.

If you dry it properly should be no problem. Bacteria won't survive being dried out. It looks alright to me
