Is that really a cauliflower?  Can't zoom in too far but it definitely looks like a hericium.

Check it out!

Did you find those matsutake in that area I took you to? They're huge! I just discovered another new access point in that region, I need to get exploring.

Went out on the Molalla river today, still lots of diversity, but mostly 6-10 lobsters as big as my head! Within a 15min walk.

It's been fairly dry around here for the past 10 days or so, but there still are chants around... in the spirit of the season, here are some Halloween Chanterelles from today's hunt.

...and the monster:

Yeah it was the same place. Well a bit further below where you and I went it. It was thick with undergrowth. A really difficult hunt actually but, it was a good time.

It was raining a lot too. I was soaked.

Ill drive out there again. Not this weekend but the next would work.

Text me if you are down yo.

This little mushie was about the size of a quarter.  It looked so neat with all the little bite marks on it

Anyone who hunts cyanescens has surely seen these.  I've always thought they were pretty

That's hilarious because I picked the biggest one I've ever seen today.  I smelled it like I smell all mushrooms I pick.  It smelled like SHIT

I feel wrong selling anything I forage for.  Barter maybe.  But sell?  Nah.  Psychedelic or edible, I give it away to friends and coworkers.

Amanitas suck.  I'd never look at a mushroom and think MONEY
