Hi, All.  I am new to growing mushroom.
I got hold of a seller for fine perlite
30 pound bag for $5.  Is this a good
deal for growing mushroom?

For what purpose you want to use it?

That is a pretty good price. We use perlite for Shotgun Fruiting Chambers (SGFC). We use it to keep a high humidity in the fruiting chamber. 30 pounds of perlite will go a long way.
What is the size of the perlite rocks? It shouldn't be too fine or too large.

In this picture, you'll want the coarse:

The seller said they are the fine
perlite.

What application they are useful
for I don't know yet.  Just wonder if
I should buy some for later application.

Medium works too, but it is messy as it will fall out the holes any chance it gets.

Yes, medium will work, coarse is preferable.

I will agree with that, I cannot get course where I am at.  I cant get anything more than the miracle grow brand.  Vermiculite on the other hand I have 6 different varieties available at any given time from 8 qt bags to 2 cubic feet.

Also i cant get that home depot birdseed that has me all jealous.  I have this thing were when I cant have something I crave it worse than pussy.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm on the hunt for some PE spores and I don't know if I should take the chance on overseas shipping with a syringe or buy a shitty growkit in Europe. All I know is I want that Penis Envy! lol

If you are not against Wallmart then they have the wild bird seeds #40 bag for $8.  Lowes is just a bit expensive at $11 for a #20 bag.
I'm new to this forum so is bartering allowed here?

At a certain point (50 posts) it will be possible to access the marketplace and trade various items, be it spore prints, spore syringes, equipment, gift cards etc etc.

I'm not sure why have to wait to access the mkt place.
Is there a way to access mkt place faster like buying things
from vendors here?

How much per bag and weight at petco & ace?
