well shroomery I have become re interested in aya and have been thinking about how amazing mimosa tea was but after it was banned I attempted to make a tea with acrb and it was a dud so I was wondering how long and how high of heat do the boils need to be? I want to do 3x30 min boils but am unsure of the heat to use since last time failed and also a splash of vinegar will be added. I just love oral dmt and know how amazing it can be and really want to try again please help

i personally do ~ 3x 3 hour boils, but you can make a great brew with much less time. i'd recommend that you at least do and hour each boil.
i keep the water temp high enough for it to steam and slowly reduce, but not actually boiling. it's hard to describe, but i find mhrb/acrb tea really forgiving. i'm actually quite amazed that you made a dud batch.
and after it's made i highly recommend that you decant it!

I do successive 30minute pulls until the water starts coming out almost clear, usually 5 or so. I then allow the brew to reduce down to around 100ml per dose. At this stage I have it at a rolling boil and have never had a "dud" batch. The reduced liquid is then frozen to -10 F, thawed in the fridge, and the precipitated goo is filtered out. I repeat this process until almost noting precipitates out.

well last time I did 3 pulls of 30 mins each and I am worried my temp was too low this time I may do a low boil. I know 30 mins pulled dmt out of mimosa I had amazing success with it. soon I will try again with more heat. also I may have had maoi issues but I shouldn't had. next time will follow this process and see what you think. 10g acrb with water and a splash of vinegar lightly boiled so there is a slow but steady bubbling for 30-45 mins(doing 3 pulls) decanting in the fridge and then reducing down to approx. a shot glass of tea.
and for the maoi I will use the same process with rue but I may evaporate to a resin and gelcap. I have only ever used powdered rue in gelcaps before but that's hard on the tummy at first so I will try to improve a bit. feel free to comment.

that sounds great, except that you want to decant after it's all reduced.

well I honestly plan on doing it more than onece if all goes well as I feel like I would be able to reduce it easier if I had a decanted liquid that I boiled down. as in I wouldnt have to worry about it getting as goopy or gross as I get it down to a shot glass if all the sluge wasn't in there to start then after it is done I will likely decant one last time

It's better to decant, then filter out remaining solids with a large volume before you reduce the brew. Think of it this way, the bark is going hold some of your dmt-containing liquid after separation so you get less of a loss in yield if the solution is more diluted during separation. Plus, performing the reduction with plant matter floating around only serves to extract more plant oils and tannins.
