G2g question relating to contams

Hey guys i was researching about ways to see if g2g receiving jars might be contamed and that way is to give them a good shake and see if it recolonizes.
My question is, if you do this shake and they start recolonizing but the myc looks pretty dam thin around the grains and not thick and bulky does this mean contam or does this happen for other reasons?

Either I'm reading this wrong, or your thought process is a little off. What you're talking about would apply to fully colonized jars, not receiving jars.
If you're dealing with MS, growth will vary. You're not going to get thick mycelium in every jar.

If they're contamed they're contamed.
Even if you shake them and they appear to recolonize looking healthy, that contamination is still inside the jar and when you birth to bulk you are setting your bulk up for failure.
Dump the jars, look over your technique to see where you went wrong, clean your work area x2 next time.

Sorry to bump but in case people dont understand Ill explain a little better. I nocked up pints with ms, g2gd them to qt jars. Now the qt jars were colonizing but slow so i shook 2 of them out of the 12.
The 2 qt jars i shook are recolonizing but the grains can be seen with thin myc coated around them and not really thick like crazy rhizo growth. I did this in case the jars were contamed and i was told that this is a way to be able to tell if they are because the myc wont recolonize necessarily if they are contamed.

What are you considering slow growth?
How long had it been since you did G2G?
I feel like my recent quarts are colonizing slow... but that's because I've been watching them every day

The best way to spot a contaminated jar is a sharp eye and a good nose prior to spawning. It's multispore and you're not going to get record breaking growth every time. Just let the jars colonize and keep an eye out for contams. I'm sure you're fine.

Shake receiving jars immediately after the G2G to distribute the colonized grains amongst the uncolonized ones. G2G'ed jars shouldn't be shaken after that until full colonization when spawning to bulk or G2G'ing them again. If your jars contaminated, then you're sterile procedures are bad during G2G or you had a bad donor/master grain jar.
24-48 hours after the G2G, the grains will start to recolonize and the mycelium will spread to the uncolonized grains.
Not the best example, but here's a few pictures of jars after a G2G:
