So, this is happening to all of my cakes. I know they look healthy and all, but my question is... Are those pins? Cant seem to find any pictures online that look like that. Thanks

pins they are not, looks like just mycelium but I'm not really sure why it would be doing that

It looks like healthy mycelium, but its hard to tell. I would wait it out and see where is goes from here. It might be the co2 and the humidity being too high causing it to act as though if still in spawn run.

So any suggestions? humidity is a steady 95%, ultra sonic humidifiers set to run every 3 hours for 10 minutes, air pump leading to a bubbler, submerged in 2 1/2" of water. 1 inch between water and surface level. light on for 12 hours, off for 12 hours, room set for 65 degrees. 10 less than incubation temp

The way you've got it should be great for now, to get pins to form. Just give them some time. Once you get pins, I'm not sure that setup will provide enough air for proper growth of oysters. Depending on your RH, you might have better luck leaving the lid off or something.

I second that.
Be sure the air in the room is fresh also, like have a window open with a fan in it. Just having the lid open is useless if the air in the room isn't fresh in the first place.
Worry more about fresh air than humidity, you can always just mist them if they get dry..

i have been fanning them 3 times a day, and I drilled like 16 more holes each in the bottom of the fc. the air going into that room is pretty fresh, but I will leave the door open. Now what about natural light vs artificial? What im gathering is when I see some pins forming move the cakes into a larger area... perlite method? I really appreciate all this help. On a different note. transferred my first homemade LC into a syringe and am ready to try out "my" first strain.
