SHROOMS CAUSING NIGHTMARES?

I am a 26 year old male who has experimented with drugs from age 16-24. I was a dedicated heroin addict, and finally got clean on 1/1/12. The other day I decided to do shrooms (the first time using any drugs since 1/1/12) with my fiance because she wanted to do them. She has absolutely no drug history at all. I gave her 10 fresh grams because I am afraid of giving her too much. I took the same amount of Cambodian strain. I ended up tripping a little bit; it was level 1 with bits of level 2. My fiance claims she didn't feel anything.
Since taking the shrooms (tuesday, 8/27), we have been having problems sleeping and have been waking up in the middle of the night terrified. The fact that we both experienced this leads us to believe it was the mushrooms. The dreams we have aren't exactly nightmares, but they are incredibly strange (stranger than dreams normally are) and we will experience impending doom in the dreams leading us to wake up in the middle of the night feeling terror.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possibly from the shrooms being fresh? Other people have eaten the same shrooms but dried and haven't experienced nightmares.
She really wants to eat them again... is that a bad idea? I am too afraid to eat them again. The last time I ate shrooms was about 6 years ago and it was a horrible trip.
Could it be my bad vibes from past drug abuse passed onto her?
If anyone could give me any insight, I would greatly appreciate it.

I haven't had any nightmares, although I have eaten lots of shrooms at doses similar to yours. Fresh and dried.
If she is cool with taking shrooms again, let her do it.

magic mushrooms are sacred, sacred medicine. You need to both take them and ask/intention --ask why you are having these nightmares, and what they mean.
By the way, what are you nightmares about--Please describe?
Actually the way the world is, I am surprised more people aren't having fukin nightmares!
