Most potent mushrooms for indoor incubation process?

Ok so I have never grown indoor mushrooms before but I bought all the necessary materials to start. I am about to buy the spores. The strongest mushrooms seem to grow in cold climates. Since I will be doing the indoor 80F temperature, what is/are the strongest mushrooms that can be grown with an incubation process?
How many spores should I buy?

The most potent strains are harder to cultivate, unless you are pretty experienced. Look into cubensis

I've heard Penis Envy stain Cubensis are more potent than standard cubes, and easy to cultivate. I've heard they grow much more slowly though and are prone to weird mutations on occasion

Yea people say to go with PE, and I've never had personal experience with them but the general consensus says to go with those; however, if you're looking for a fun, visual trip then I'd recommend Pink Buffalo. Those are for sure one of the best to go with.
And if you're looking for even more potent types go for some wood loving species like azurescens, tampanensis blah blah. Most people say that they're harder to cultivated than cubensis, but in all reality, they're basically 98% similar.

Have you grown some of these indoors? And if so which ones were easier to grow?

Old thread, but if you want to grow indoors you're looking at cubensis varities, Pan cyans, or stone producers (tampanensis). There are plenty of current threads about all of these. Wood lovers like Ps cyans and azurescens don't grow indoors unless you dedicate a fridge to fruiting.

Noted! I will definitely try those next, I'm just trying to find my way back to where I was when I tripped last year. Very profound. It had been several years since I took an psychedelics. When I tripped...music was transcendent and I was doing these (what I can only describe as) micro-giggles. I took my B+ and was severely underwhelmed. Someone on Shroomery said that you can just take more cubes to get to exotic species level psylocibin levels (or something like that), and I took like 8g and still got nowhere near what I wanted. I understand that each person probably has a "perfect strain" depending on their particular biology, and that my mindset of trying to get back to that "perfect trip" could work against me, but I was in a much worse place than I am now, and yeah...just hoping to get back there. I want to taste music like that again.

You can certainly find very potent cubes but you’ll likely need to get into agar if you want consistent results.

So it's not as easy as "take a lot more cubes"?

It's more like "make better fruits and take them..."
Always IME the best fruits I grew and harvested resulted in the best trips. This includes the health of the myc, the growing conditions, the genetics (starting and selected by isolating), the care to process after harvesting...it all matters.

You could try to grow psilocybe cyanescens but you'll lose your mind trying to incubate them. You basically have to keep the jars in a very cold area. Also the substrate they need is a little more difficult to put together.

Ya, I've newb-ishly been putting that together over the last few days. Gotta get into the agar game.

What about Panaeolus cyanescens? They seem relatively easy to grow, I have some colonizing in a sterilized manure and rye bag I got from a highly rated Etsy seller. Not sure about the grain, but it looks like rye. The item I inoculated looks like it's "horse manure with worm castings" but unless worm castings is a type of grain...it looks like some type of grain. See here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/826028439/3lb-2lb-all-in-one-grow-bag-with?ref=yr_purchases
From there I was just gonna follow this grow guide here on Shroomery: https://www.shroomery.org/8421/Panaeolus-cyanescens-FAQ#teks
