whats going on shroomery ! I have been lurking for a while and finally started to get my equipment ready for my first grow.
Everything is on its way to me should be here in the next week , i Have one concern i have a organic MMJ grow in accordance with prop 215 for personal use and i use products that contain many different species of bacteria. If im correct these spore should be alll over my house by now , i would have my terrarium 2 floors above where i keep these products and my grow even if i take the correct sanitize the area iam in before & after i shower am i still at risk for contams? cant wait to get this going and research more about mycology . thanks all

trich is a fungus, not a bacteria. I just did a G2G in a bedroom right across the hall from a grow room last week. There's no contams in any of the jars. Also, we're all organic, too.

If you have good sterile technique, you will do just fine.

I'd suggest checking the room for dust. Just run your finger across surfaces, sweep the carpet, check the corners of furniture etc. I used to have a huge trich problem no matter how sterile I'd be it would show up in at least every other grow. I went on a cleaning spree and found the house totally full of dust. The dust is generally just dead skin and whatnot, but it's a good indication of spores and they likely gather in the same places. Unless you have it on every surface and it's very visible to the naked eye I wouldn't worry about it so long as your sterile procedures are in check. Make a GB/SAB if you plan to do G2G or agar work and always use self healing injection ports on your jars. If you make it to FAE conditions you should pretty much be good at that point.

The amounts in the soil, even when it's intentionally added are substantially less than say if you had large visible trichoderma colony growing. The main thing is to use good sterile technique inoculating your jars. That's by far the most common time, at least for home cultivators who prepare their own spawn, you're going have to problems with it and we all live around Trichoderma containing soil, without exception.

thanks for ur input i think the jar says 156,562 prop/gram , at one point i wanted to see if it was possible to breed these "bennies" beneficial microbes but now that i will be harvesting i will not

Buying SHIPs (self healing inoculation ports) is a waste of money, IME.
