shigeto - intermission

quality from ghostly international. deep, complex and worthy of repeated listens.
lord raja - para

more quality from ghostly. hadn't heard this artist's stuff until this release. it sounds to me like 90's amon tobin producing vaporwave. really new. really dope.
anyone have any recommendations for more stuff along the lines of these two albums? i need some new stuff. i've worn these out for now.

I love that synth wave stuff. Dudes like Lazerhawk, Com Truise, Miami Nights 1984, Kavinsky etc. are my favorites in the genre. Killer music.

When you next get a car, and you have to drive somewhere serious (or just do some serious cruising), bump Lazerhawk's 'Skull and Shark' LP. It is music that is meant to be heard while driving, I promise.

I used to have that album of his Redline in the car when it first came out. Listening to it always made me feel like I was driving instead of just driving.

Not bad, not really my thing but...it was okay. could use more stutters and beat variation, other than that, decent.

It seems like almost anyone who I'm interested in digging around in their music doesn't use it for some reason.

Maybe I'll try it out or something. I'm rarely on anything but my phone when I'm online though.

It kinda sucks on mobile unless you're a premium subscriber, it forces you to listen to everything on random. The application on the PC is good for free though, it doesn't do that. I've grown pretty fond of it since I did a trial a year or two ago now. I really like the whole being able to dig around in your friend's playlists and make collaborative playlists with them.

Word. Remind me about it some time this week; I have a bunch of stuff going on & probably won't be bothering with the computer today. When you have a toddler to watch, the best you can usually do is hop on the phone for Internet when he's distracted by something, haha. But I'll look into this soon.
Edit: to break up the chat a bit, a party banger that I remember hearing at a thousand raves when I was younger.
